Horrible sinus infection immediately following tooth extraction leading to complete opacification of maxillary sinus on two CT Scans. Despite NUMEROUS calls for advisement and even stopping in the office when there were no return calls in two weeks from the Doctor, still resulted in no follow up whatsoever. Dr. Whitman's double jaw surgery has unfortunately left me with permanent health issues, necessitating a revision. I found him to be an inadequate surgeon, secretive in his planning, and lacking in aftercare support. He tends to gaslight patients who attempt to seek support. Notably, he laughed when I requested recommendations for therapists after his operation left me in a worse condition than before.
Dr. Whitman was a great surgeon, his office staff is the worse I ever had dealt with. I’m a retired Sheriffs Deputy and if I made a statement that I would stand by it or I would be fired for false representation. I over paid for my tooth extracted, only because that’s what I was quoted by a lady named Dorothy. 10 days before my appointment, my insurance company notified me to ask me why I paid so much money, I said that is what she quoted me for my out of pocket expense. Rushes patients out and does not do follow up visits so once you’re gone it’s out of sight out of mind when they collect their money. He literally hung up the phone on me as I was trying to figure out how to control pain for my husband who went to have wisdom teeth pulled and I was not being disrespectful at all as I am also a healthcare professional. I have been going to Dr. Dean Whitman for more than 2 years now for dental extractions. He’s very knowledgeable, professional, puts you at ease, patiently answers all of your questions in an easily understandable method. His staff is always polite and friendly. The implant procedures done by this surgeon failed. I, my referring dentist and the surgeon who eventually fixed the problem were all told I would get call back. Never got one. The weeks waiting for this office to schedule my surgery made the situation dangerously worse. Many surgeons guarantee implants for life. I was willing to pay even if they offered that.

I had never encountered a surgeon with the love , knowledge , and Dedication to his profession as Dr. Goldberg. I had my jaw surgery performed a year ago and it’s a total success. I am grateful to have found such an amazing surgeon .
