Very disappointed with this doctor. He has poor patient care, in that he does not care at all about the opinions or input of the patient. Patients have a right to a choice of available treatment options, they have the right to make an informed decision based upon the risks and benefits of the available options. My concerns were dismissed, doctor treated me like I was wasting his time. He sent me away with a blood test that I later found out was useless in my situation. It had taken me 8 months to get an appointment and I drove over 250 km to get there. Leaving this review to help others who are 40+, this isn't the doctor for you.
Dr. De Lara did my hysterectomy surgery early this year. Very happy with the result and very thankful to him and his team for the wonderful job and care they gave me. He's very kind and professional. He explained clearly the process and assured me that he will take good care of me during the surgery which takes away my nervousness. When I woke up, I felt good and did not feel any pain. STAY FAR AWAY FROM DR DE LARA. He is unprofessional, judgemental and misogynistic. He should not be in this profession at all. He is rude and undervalues your opinion and decisions if it’s not one he agrees with. Which he shouldn’t be biased to anyone’s decisions as he is a doctor. Horrible bedside manner. STAY AWAY. He is not to be trusted.
