I moved away from MKE nine years ago. I was back for the 1st time at the end of June. I simply had to go back for the DR. DAWG burger, dog & fries. Everything was even better than I remembered. Exceptional quality and mighty authentic! It is, by far, the BEST burger ever, certainly all of MKE! I shared with a friend (first time) and they were blown away! Tried for the first time and it was awesome across the board. Got a Chicago with everything and an order of Rosemary and garlic french fries. Chicago dog was done properly and the French fries were different in the best way. Also a perfect size lunch for only like $9🔥👍🏻
Do NOT eat their burgers this was such a bad experience. Where do I start when I first walked in the place it’s like a dump trying to be a bar, but it’s not is it a restaurant or is it a bar? The waiter was not listening when taking my order or professional order the burger, fries, and a chocolate shake waited and finally got my burger but no shake they said they are making it. I use to love,love,love this place before it moved here...food quality was horrible, cold chili cheese fries and all 2of the different dogs were cool to the touch and buns seemed stale on the 12 inch one. The waitress was absolutely incredible!!! Smiling, bubbly and great table service!!! Too bad the food wasn't.
Was looking for a quick place to get something on our way to Nicolet High School. I heard their fries are amazing and they did not disappoint. We tried the Rosemary fries. Not your typical out of a bag. these are actually potatoes that were cut and then seem to be infused with rosemary. I got the meatball sub.
