Dr. Calton is a role model on how to treat your patients. He is connected, listens, and follows up. I recently had a bad case of influenza and pneaumonia and he rushed me in and took great care of me. He is the greatest!
In general I have been very happy with Dr. Calton. Most of his staff is friendly but recently I had one of his Nurses ask me a question about a procedure I did not have done. Nurse also mischaracterized my behavior with previous contacts I think it was related to another Doctor who visited me in the Hospital in Caltons place and could not answer a single question. Asked him to leave he hung around stood behind my wife who was sitting in a chair to the point of where I remarked to my wife "Some people just don't get it". One ... read more
I think Dr. Calton is a super nice doctor who works very hard. He has made house calls to check on my aging mother. He always listens and is open to trying different solutions to problems. Some of the complaints on this site most likely have a back story that is not being conveyed. We've always gotten excellent care from Dr. Calton and his staff.
He’s my family doctor and I called him to get a appointment and I was told to go to ready care.
I have given this review considerable thought as I did LIKE the staff - but they lie! They wrote my last 2 recurring scripts for the least amount possible which means I more frequently pay out insurance copay fees. 2ce I was told my insurance set these restrictions but it WASN'T true. Until I complained in length, then they admitted the DRS decided to write reduced scripts? Why the need to lie to me-2ce? I was then told to find another DR if I didn't like it - so I did. I don't trust DRs who lie
My family have been patients of Dr Calton for more than 9 years. On a recent Saturday apt that was scheduled for 10am, I was left waiting until 11:05 when I had to leave because I had another apt. I called today for a med refill and was told that Dr Calton will call in a 30 day supply, but you'll have to find another physician! He literally fired me as a patient for not waiting for him! How absurd! other complaints, inaccurate medical record keeping, office staff gossip very visual,
Dr. Calton is, without doubt, the most caring physician I've ever been in contact with. He's my doctor, yes, and excellent. But it was the care for my sick, handicapped, parents that he provided that is so far above the norm that I decided to write this. He took over my parent's care in a bad time for them, straightened it all out, weaved through tons of family drama. Dr. Calton gave them the best care and quality of life they had ever had.
Worst doctor ever. Wont even touch you to examine you. Doesnt care about his patients at all
This Dr is a treasure. He cares what happens his patient and is open to new ideas on how to treat them. I have never meet a nicer staff or friendly office atmosphere
