Dr. Tom is a highly rated retinal specialist. I was not happy with him at all. He was borderline polite but really wasn’t interested in my condition or my experience. I didn’t get the impression that he had reviewed my records. I felt dismissed. He must have been overbooked. He didn’t really answer my questions. He didn’t go over my tests and show me my imaging etc. I left discouraged and depressed.
I wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyesight! Doctor Tom has been taking care of me since my eyes began hemorrhaging from diabetic retinopathy. Prior to me he cared for my grandmother and her macular degeneration. The man is an excellent intelligent doctor with a good bedside manner. The only downside is that he is in such high demand you must expect to have long waits in his office and I do mean multiple hours. But again... He has my highest recommendation!
