Dr. Tenembaum is sharp, experienced, professional, and incredibly personable with a ton of patience and a great bedside manor. He's very conscious of his patients health but also their wallets. he did my upper endoscopy and it was so easy and painless, highly recommend him even if you don't live in Queens - he's worth the trip.
I can not believe how I was treated by this doctor. I was referred to Dr. Tenembaum by my primary care doctor who was very concerned about the severity of my symptoms. During my first appointment, instead of discussing my symptoms with me and coming up with a possible treatment plan, he lectured me about my weight. He said that my diet was the reason for my stomach issues. He didn’t even ask me any questions about my diet, he made an assumption by looking at me. Not knowing what to expect. So when I arrived I was greeted and given some forms to fill out. Before I was finished I was called to the back for some vitals then taken to my area and was explained what was going to happen the pros and cons of the procedure. The doctor came in talked to me and the anesthesiologists came in and asked me about my best vacation before I knew it, I was in the recovery area and the doctor came and told me about the finding. Dr. Tenembaum is wonderful. Smart, engaged, considerate --- explains everything and makes sure I understand. The entire staff is great as well. Helpful and engaged and professional. I really like this practice. BTW- I was referred by my daughter who shares my feelings about Dr. Tenembaum and the office.
Never met a doctor so professional yet sweet! I highly appreciate him and prefer going to him and because I know I'm in safe hands.
Let’s start off with this Dr. Tenembaum is an amazing Dr. I have gone to multiple Gastro’s in the past for everyone to tell me my stomach pain is in my head and I’m fine to see a psychiatrist. But loosing so much weight not being able to eat anything without pain. Drs giving me medicine that never worked telling me to keep taking it it will work in time.
