Dr. Wine is an incredibly thorough and attentive doctor. When my husband had a very hard to detect cancer in his mid 30s, Dr. Wine doggedly pursued finding the cause. After many tests, he correctly diagnosed his cancer and because Dr. Wine never gave up and was never dismissive of what may have seemed like small symptoms, my husband got an early diagnosis and is alive and healthy today. In September, 2019, I saw Dr. Wine as a new primary care physician. During the visit I explained that recent lab tests warned I have stage 3 kidney disease, with a steady drop to the current GFR of 50. A few days after my visit, I discovered the BP (blood pressure) medication I've taken for over a decade is contraindicated for kidney disease; I discontinued the dosage immediately.
