Day 2 after an anterior hip replacement and I could not be happier. First hip replacement was a posterior one and it was a disaster on every level. Not only did David Slattery do this op so easily inspiring confidence, he also rectified the error of the previous one, 6 years ago. I am using crutches only and have minimal pain. Am delighted with the outcome. Thanks David.
Dr Slattery I am very appreciative of the surgery with the replacement hip. Its now a year and while I have some muscle discomfort at the front of the hip area the joint is really good. I can walk without the joint discomfort I had previously. The only thing I would suggest is a follow up to check it at maybe 6 or 12 months to ensure all is well. Couldn't recommend Dr David enough, professional and swift.
I had two arthroscopic hip surgeries with Dr. David Slattery back in 2022 to fix my FAI, and I’m really happy with how everything turned out. Both surgeries went smoothly, and now, three years later, I have almost no pain and full range of motion in my hips. Dr. Slattery was great throughout the whole process. He’s super professional, really knows his stuff, and made me feel at ease every step of the way. My experience was an absolutely terrible. My RED allergies wrist bands were ignored under this surgeons care, which caused me to bleed out. I was then sent rushed to from the avenue hospital to the Alfred hospital for emergency surgery. “If only i could stay awake to see “ WHO” was doing “WHAT” during surgery”.
