Couldn't recommend Dr David enough, professional and swift.
I had two arthroscopic hip surgeries with Dr. David Slattery back in 2022 to fix my FAI, and I’m really happy with how everything turned out. Both surgeries went smoothly, and now, three years later, I have almost no pain and full range of motion in my hips. Dr. Slattery was great throughout the whole process. He’s super professional, really knows his stuff, and made me feel at ease every step of the way. My experience was an absolutely terrible. My RED allergies wrist bands were ignored under this surgeons care, which caused me to bleed out. I was then sent rushed to from the avenue hospital to the Alfred hospital for emergency surgery. “If only i could stay awake to see “ WHO” was doing “WHAT” during surgery”.
Horrible experience. He has clearly lost his passion for his work and is just going through the motions, another day another dollar, no signs of empathy or concern, and no insightful information provided.
This review is on behalf of my wife, she had knee surgery a year ago and his ability to perform the surgery is obviously up to the standards. What we didn't like and what has caused us to find someone else for future procedures, is that on his website it stated they cover the medigap from NIB so that my wife only needed to pay out of pocket expensive and the insurance would pay the rest.
