I was a patient of Dr Roer for 23 years and did not want to leave the practice. For my appointments every 6 months for a medication check, he would ask me about my medicine but also ask me about my life and what is going on. Very approachable and listens to your concerns! I was so sad to leave the office. The staff at PAD are amazing as well. They always had a smile on their face. It was nice to see a familiar face every time I walked into the office.
He charged us for two appointments for the 15 minutes he saw my son without even talking to me during the appointment. I received his bill through the mail. I called and was told the doctor feels he deserves it and the insurance and I didn't think so.
He was my boys' pediatrician back in the 90s to 2010. Always loved how he treated them and just related to them as human beings. He also was very understanding of my role as a single parent and how difficult it was to schedule things while working full-time, too. I can honestly say that I was almost sad that my sons "aged out" of their pediatrician days as I always trusted Dr. Roer.
Terrific, terrific man. I'm going to cry when he retires. Very community oriented and just a loving doc for our little ones.
Dr. Roer is a great doctor. He is very efficient with time and friendly and warm. When things are serious, he is very thorough. My son had RSV when he was 11 days old. We called on a Friday at closing and they stayed open for us until we got there. Ended up in the PICU for 12 days. He even called over to the hospital to check on us- something that the nurses in the PICU were very impressed upon. They said that doesn’t happen too often. We feel like he saved our kid’s life.
My son has been seen by Dr Roer for 21 years. This is the best doctor I have ever known. So good that I am having a hard time trying to find someone like him now that my son is almost out of college. I recommend this doctor to anyone that needs a really good doctor. My son really liked him. He is really good with children and very caring. Fantastic person!
