Dr. Rice advised that I needed 15 treatments of radiation to my right breast for post-op for breast cancer and that I would have a mild sunburn as the only side effect of the treatment. He repeated that multiple times. After treatment number 14 I was admitted to the hospital where it was determined that I had issues with my heart, lungs, and esophagus due to over radiation. I attended an appointment for my mother. She was diagnosed with Sinonasal Undifferentiated Carcinoma. He explained the results of the PET scan on a manner my Mom and Dad understood. He went thru the treatment process thoroughly. I felt very comfortable my mother would be well taken care of. The other staff we interacted with were very professional and friendly.
