This is NOT a good Dr... he is terrible in every way...he was quite possibly the rudest person not to mention Dr. I have ever met.. very defensive, did nothing to help me find a resolution to my wrist problem, did not do an x-ray , did not do a complete exam, offered no course of treatment or follow up only that I should see a neurosurgen...I asked about in the meantime what do I do...he stated he had no idea and left the room...
I felt rushed and like I wasted my time going in to see him. He was rude, misinformed, and really did not care about helping me. I arrived and left in pain. He told me to come back in 10 years when I was ready for a joint replacement and did not offer any course of treatment for my already advanced and previously diagnosed arthritis. Stay away!
Dr Markellos did an excellnt job on my bi-lateral Carpal Tunnel(one at a time). He knew what he was talking about and understood my symptoms righjt away. He talked me through the procedure and gave me peace of mind. He was very easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend him to others.
He was really great. He was very,very helpful. He explained the carpal tunnel release surgery procedure to me.He did an excellent job.I like that he took into account my feelings and fears about the release surgery. He Made sure that I knew what the procedure was and what was going to happen.he did an awesome job. Very satified
My mother has been going to see him since breaking her ankle last year. It is not healing properly (not his fault, she has diabetes and charcots) His manner with her has been perfunctory, I get the feeling he doesn't see making an effort to NOT amputate her foot as worthwhile. When it first happened, his first response was to amuptate and she had to ask him twice if there were no other options. A year later, she went to see a different orthopaedist and was told that it should have been fused last year.
The first Dr. who really talked to me and explained everything he was going to do. Excellent Surgeon.Intelligent I had a perfect outcome from my surgery. He is the best.I highly recommend him to anyone needing surgery
