Dr Miller was monitoring my husband with ET diagnosis for a long time and saw him every 3 months yet somehow didn’t think to perform a bone marrow biopsy when he saw his hemoglobin drop to 12.1. He waited until it dropped to 9.1 and still just prescribed prednisone. Finally at 8.1 he performed the test and diagnosed him with myelofibrosis on Jan. 6,, 2023. My husband died of myelofibrosis on Feb 19, 2023. Guess we won’t know if an earlier diagnosis and given Jackafi sooner would have bought him a few years!
I appreciate Dr. Miller’s personable approach to his patients. Prompt care and a friendly disposition of staff means a lot to a person struggling with health issues. I have never been mistreated or ignored by his team. They possess the right attitude for health care and I believe they are second to none in making a patient feel welcome and comfortable. Great group of people!
