Dr Heyer is amazing. I’m currently going through chemo treatments and he makes it incredible easy. His pleasant smile and great really help. He and his team of Drs are wonderful. They are very down to earth and will answer all my questions.
I was diagnosed with CLL in May and have been researching the best place to go. I was told INOVA. My appointment was with Dr. Heyer. I tried telling him about my neck and back pain and my increased fatigue. His exact quote, "everyone who has CLL blames there symptoms on the diagnosis" . I tried telling him this is how it all started in Nov. He wasn't listening, he said as you get older you get arthritis. Hence, his answer was two MRI with and without contrast, iron and B12 tested.
