Do not go to for an ACL. Have consulted with other drs. Tunnels of screws all wrong, bad angle of ACL graft and ton of issues. Mentioned a screw coming out and not feeling right within a month of surgery and kept being told “it will pass” To then find out a year later the screw was out and ACL was done incorrectly. Have to have ACL revision after 12 months of grueling rehab and pain, not to mention how much time and money was wasted!
Dr. Zoellick preformed what should have been a one and done ACL repair for me. 3 years later I have had numerous issues, another surgery, and am planning a third. All of the doctors I have consulted said Dr. Zoellick placed his tunnels in the incorrect place and should have never used the cadaver technique on such a young patient. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Zoellick he is an awful orthopedic surgeon.
On Thursday July 12, 2007 I tore my achilles tendon. Thankfully - maybe because of patients' superstitions - Dr. Zoellick was able to operate on me the very next day, Friday the 13th. I am now 72 and am still walking about 5 miles per day, with zero after-effects from my original injury. I say a prayer of thanks for this wonderful doctor every day of my life.
Dr. Zoellick repaired a patella tendon that tore off my left knee, he went to bat for me with the insurance co. and did a great job. Lucky I picked him to be my Dr. thanks for everything.
Dr. Zoellick made a diagnosis based only on 1 X-ray. He only spent about 5 minutes with me Never asked to see the MRI disc. What a joke. Find a better Dr.
