I wish I could give him a MINUS 10 OR MORE!! In my opinion he killed my mom, gave her Ancef which should NOT be given to anyone who has an allergy to penicillin. He knew how extremely allergic my mom was, had done previous surgeries & this time he disregarded her allergy. Knew what he did wrong and never had the decency to call us or come talk to us after the surgery. Which is what he did for the other 2 surgeries. I broke my R hip in a cycling accident in E Hanover. Dr. Loya was the surgeon on call at St. Barnabus. Had a great experience with him, and also two years later when it was time to remove the hardware.

Dr. Loya was great. He let me talk and talk and he listen to all my complaints. I found him to be very patient and did not rush out the room. I came with severe shoulder pain. I was treated by Dr. Loya and he also recommended therapy. I don't know if his treatment or the therapy made me 95% better. But I know one thing Dr. Loya expertise and his advise gave me back the strength in my shoulders within 2 week. 💪💪😇 Only thing one, I was back to work 🙄 5stars

He had an X-ray completed but didn’t believe an MRI was necessary at the time. He suggested that the injury would heel with rest (no recommendation on physical therapy), but that I should return with an MRI if the knee wasn’t recovering. After experiencing other instances of my knee buckling several months after the initial visit, I returned to Dr. Loya w... read more
