Dr. Estep presents well, as if he were trustworthy and honorable. If you were to meet him as a patient via telehealth at an AL county jail, you would initially like him. That is, until you realize that he should have informed you of his potential conflict of interest. He is ultimately there to serve the needs of the county, regardless. The video cameras in the jail were (conveniently for the sheriff's office), 'not working.' From the first time I visited Dr. Estep in 2009, I knew he was a very caring and devoted doctor. He spends time listening, actually paying attention to what I tell him. He has believed in me and encouraged me in the face of adversity. Dr. Estep is an extraordinary doctor.
In the many many years I've been seeing Dr. Estep I've never seen such a doctor put up with such a patient. In my many hospital stays he was always listening to my side of being a patient. In his office he asks, starts listening and then he KEEPS listening for as long as I talk, or don't . Sometimes I know that I don't exactly fit in his timeframe but I've realized it later. I really appreciated that. Most marriages dont last this long.lol.lol.lol.lol.lol.
