I heard from my friends that work at our local hospital that he knows his stuff. However, my personal experience with him was one of the worst ever. It took 45 min to see him, I asked a question and he answered "Do you have an hour?, because I don't" seriously condescending. He may know his "stuff" but how would I know if he just brushed me off. I have a busy life and took off of work to make this appointment. I was really looking forward to some answers from this "specialist".

Very personable yet direct. Not a common combination but one I appreciate very much. Did a great job on my surgery and took the time to call me personally, multiple times, to discuss treatment with me. Even spent 20 minutes of his time talking to me in the waiting room while I was there for a different appointment. Highly recommend.

Dr Kuester performed numerous surgeries on me including 3 carpal tunnel releases and rotator cuff repair. Casted a hair-line crack in my arm. Each time he thoroughly explained the procedure and the recovery period. My husband needed 2 hip replacements but he also had some urological issues. We explained this to Dr Kuester who came up with a plan to insert catheter during surgery and improved the experience. He takes the time to explain and answers patients questions thoroughly. Great surgeon!

Dr Kuester was excellent in helping me through my knee injury. He did a great job of explaining what was happening inside my knee and laying out the possible options for fixing it. As an athlete my ability to return to sports was very important to me. Dr Kuester walked me through the recovery periods and possible future limitations for each option. I really appreciated his honesty in each possible outcome while always remaining optimistic and never pressuring me on my decision! Great Doctor

Dr. Kuester provided excellent service. As an avid runner presenting with a hip injury, I found that Dr. Kuester provided a clear and complete explanation of the diagnosis and prognosis, skillful treatment, and creative options to help me maintain my exercise regimen. I appreciated his candor and understanding in discussing my issue, and the time he took to answer all my questions regarding future options. I have highly recommended Dr. Kuester to family and friends.

I had a complete shoulder replaced in Dec 2014 and was amazed at how well he and his staff did. Follow up appointments showed to me his care and concern extended far beyond the actual surgery. Thank you all very much. I happily and highly recommend his expertise. Chris M

If you are really concerned with your health do not waste your time! He was very arrogant and rude and did not listen to any concerns, made it seem like I was just wasting my time. I will not be referring him to anyone.

I have been with Dr. Hennigan since 2008. He performed rotator cuff surgery on me after another surgeon attempted to repair my problem earlier in 2008 but could not find the tear. His skills and understanding of a patient's problem is remarkable and he goes the extra mile to make sure his diagnosis is medically proven before he proceeds with surgery. Would highly recommend him for any shoulder problems.
