I have nothing but appreciation to Dr Diaz and his wonderful team at the west coast fertility centre. I had an exceptionally difficult situation of having to arrange for egg freezing remotely, as I could only be in California for the week of the extraction. Dr Diaz and Maria were responsive and reassuring over email and phone consultation and arranged for the medication to be sent to me all the way in Singapore. Dr. Diaz told me that I HAD to lose 40 lbs in the next 5 months before the IVF process. I followed Dr. Diaz's recommendation and went to a free class for the UCI Wt Management program. I chose to do the “decision free” very low calorie program. Sure it was tough…only shakes to eat and the need to burn at least 2000 calories a week. Plus there are the mid week phone calls to your dietician, documenting a daily log, the weekly MD visit and the hour class to learn about healthy choices and how to maintain wt loss. Very unhappy with this experience, we went elsewhere. Doesn't answer questions, staff is inconsistent, Doctor is not present for most procedures, and unreliable overall. Also makes rude assumptions and comments. Not compassionate. Do not recommend to anyone. Do your research on other facilities before considering this one.
The service very poor! Nice until you pay them, then service gets ridiculous. It's all about the money. They charged extra $600 to accept faxed medical records out of state. Then they changed the added fee's when I didn't recieve any ultrasounds because I'm out of state. He has a huge ego loves to talk about himself instead of patient preferences/needs. If you use this agency, put everything in writing and keep records! My husband and I are just at a loss!
The staff provide different of amount of total cost of the IVF. Double charge for the anesthesia. There should be no charged for the embyro transfer because no anethesia is needed. But they charge you anyway. The staff members do all ultrasonds and boold tests . You only see the Dr. a couple of times in the entire IVF procedure. Failed IVF. Do not waste your money. Get a doctor cares about patients instead of greedy. Not professional. Not recommend
I did not think I needed to use frozen eggs because I am only 37 years old. However, Dr. Diaz's staff was very supportive and helpful in my decision. I made 2 IUI attempts to no avail. Frozen egg and IVF was perfect for me and my husband.
Not present when I was put under anesthesia. The NP does the procedure without patients consent. Investigated for insurance fraud. Very difficult to see. Only positive is that he is knowledgable regarding the science.
