Staff told me they were in-network, so I made a consultation appt. I paid a co-pay at the appt, and then received a letter from my insurance company (one had also been sent to Dr. Berman's office) stating that he is NOT an in-network provider. I then consulted an in-network provider and my medical bills were 100% covered. Dr. Berman's office then sent me a bill for $120. Sorry, but I'm not going to be responsible for his staff's mistake.
Both my husband and I are patients of Dr.Berman.We have experienced only the most professional care by both Dr.Berman and his friendly staff.I can't imagine going anywhere else for plastic surgery.From the moment I stepped foot into the office,I found Dr.Berman and his staff to be honest,kind,and understanding to my concerns and questions--believe me I had a lot!! Dr. Berman is an amazing surgeon! He is straight to the point and honest...what more could you ask for? I surely didn't want someone beating around the bush or agreeing with my thoughts just to get another patient. Dr. Berman is very honest when it comes to his suggestions (def. someone you can trust) The office staff is great, I have never felt so welcomed at a practice until I visited here.
Dr. Berman is very professional.I was interested in some procedures he felt I was not a good candidate for and he was honest about that.I am having some complications from breast reduction surgery but he is very helpful and promptly returns phone calls,even on weekends.He even called me over the weekend after my surgery to see how I was doing.I don't think many doctors do that.His staff has been very helpful as well.He is out of network with my insurance but that's ok.I would rather pay extra to have someone I am comfortable... read more
I went to Dr. Berman for a consult and was totally creeped out. While he was examining me he kept telling me what a nice figure I had and it was really uncomfortable. His claim to fame that he uses on all his promo material is that he sewed on John Bobbit's penis...big whoop. I ended up chosing another PS.
Fabulous!!! Very professional from the initial consultation to my final visit after the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. B for your surgery needs. His staff was also as kind, caring and professional!!!?+++
Dr. Berman recently performed my breast reduction and lift surgary. The results were far exceeded my expectations. The care before, during, and post-surgery was excellent. I had no complications. He promptly responded to my calls and questions. He talks a little fast, but once you get to know him you really like him. He is a highly skilled surgeon.
He offers free consultations, but after I went, I was billed for the visit. They insisted I had to pay a co-pay and that they would send the $25 bill to a collection agency if I did not pay. I would not have gone had I known there was a charge! His advertising practices are deceptive and his office staff is manipulative. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
