Although Dr. Tran is very competent and his staff is good, he shows little respect for patients time. On two separate, recent occasions I have waited for him, after my initial testing by a technician, for over 35 minutes. The first time I could hear him talking to drug reps in an adjoining room while I waited in an examine room. The second time it appeared he was talking to a group of visiting students while I waited in an exam room. My appointment was 1 pm and Dr. Tran saw me at 3:45! He didn’t apologize and told me that since I was an existing patient, my next visit would be a shorter waiting time of an hour and a half! He spent ten minutes with me after I waited almost three hours to see him.
So thankful that Dr. David Tran was recommended to me after a disappointing experience with another opthalmologist in the area. Dr. Tran is is the absolute best in Naples in my opinion. He's professional, honest, thorough, very patient and is knowledgeable and accurate as to the most current inocular lens to recommend for your particular needs.
