I am an Alaskan, I adored Dr. Buckland!! Then he became the 12th, Dr that blew me off, since 1978. Dr,. Buckland is one of those that you adore or you hate. I loved him! It turns out he was just ANOTHER DOC. that came to Alaska to pay off his Medical School bills! Then leave the state, His Patient BE Screwed! Have tried so hard to track down my RECORDS TO NO AVAIL. It has been five years since Dr. Buckland and his FABULOUS team helped me through the initial process of the Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS), an implanted device that has improved my life far more than I could’ve ever hoped for! The most thorough, compassionate, and knowledgeable physician I’ve ever seen. He has a wonderful sense of humor and fantastic bedside manner. I have never felt rushed during an appointment. He’s very attentive and will take as long as necessary to hear you out. I’ve had appointments lasting upwards of two hours and still didn’t feel like I was being rushed. He’s truly a consummate professional, yet down to earth and personable. I can not recommend Dr. Buckland enough.
