After filing a complaint with Penn State Patient Relations I was discharged from his care after the initial appointment after still having elevated lab markers Pride of his Patients Disgusting office and doctor he is what’s wrong with the health care industry 2/15/26.Doctor Macaluso discharged from care because his ego was hurt from a formal complaint with Penn State. Even tho I had elevated markers stated I was clear to return back to my PCP
Dr. Macaluso is pleasant to deal with and provides excellent feedback, perhaps more than necessary. He could answer all my questions very authoritatively.
If it were up to me, this guy would get no stars. He NEVER returns my phone calls or even checks his messages on the portal. My surgeon even left him a message through the portal with no luck 2 weeks ago. When I left a message for him, I left it earlier in the day. I checked up on it later and it showed it wasn't even reviewed at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Go to a safer dr. Who actually cares about his patients
This guy is a joke. He was running an hour behind on his appointments and then had an attitude. He has no interest in developing a relationship with his patients. Look elsewhere...you can do better.
