Dr. Burak was indeed a terrible doctor. He didn't want to do a lyme test because I hadn't been to Michagan. What? We have lyme disease in SC! Regardless, I went away and lived with my pain for almost 5 years before I found a doctor who would listen and diagnose me. I'm glad he retired. He was hurting people with his behavior.
Dr. Burrack is an exceptional, caring and extremely knowledgeable Rheumatologist, who through 10 years I’ve never had an issue.

I was referred to him from my family Dr. for body pain I was having for years. I waited over a month for the appt. just for him to just take a blood test , look at my hands and feet and for him to ask me what do you think you have?? Umm I don't know thats why I'm here to see you... I had to call to get my blood test results and I was still left wondering what is causing body pain. Just weird, don't waste your time with this guy.
He was very conceited. Told me my doctor didn't know what she was talking about. That would be why she sent me to see him. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. He never bothered to call with my test results so he's just mailing them to me. He made me feel like he was more important then I was in in the appointment . So even if I had had issues which I don't know yet because they're mailing me my test results after having to wait almost a month. I would not go and see him as a doctor anyway .
