Arrhythmia was the problem, and when ablation did not make it stop, I was treated like it was my fault. When I messaged that I was still sliding into an irregular rhythm, I was told to send an EKG, which I did. Then I was told to keep taking the meds. When it was nearing my 3 month post op, I received a phone call saying that Dr. Wells was going to be unavailable until almost 5 months after the surgery. I had a non-refundable plane ticket for my appointment. On 75 mg/day metopronol, & not happy
A year ago on Sept 22, Dr. Wells fixed my "broken" heart with an Ablation! I'm so grateful every day to him for literally giving me back my life! In the grips of A-fib, my active life of race-walking, working-out, bicycling, and hiking, was all but obliterated. And the thought of taking medication for life was repulsive to me, and he totally understood this. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Wells is the greatest doctor in the world! And each and every one of his staff were awesome too.
Best doctor I have ever had. Highly recommend for anyone experiencing arrhythmia or related conditions. He corrected my problem and I'm healthy and free of medications.
