This was my first experience with a pain management clinic, and I had a lot of concerns going into my first appointment. I was apprehensive about moving towards a prescription management route. Never before have a met a more compassionate, humble and kind man that practices pain management. He listens and examines and makes what he believes to be the most beneficial decision for ones quality of life. If that is injections, or medication, physical therapy. Whatver it may be he is there to help, He is NOT going to just give people a bunch of Narcotics, as that is not his way, if they are indicated he will use them, but sparingly. DR. SCHUMACHER IS A VERY KIND, COMPASSIONATE DOCTOR. HE LISTENS TO YOUR NEED. HE DISCUSSES FULLY ALL THE OPTIONS TO HELPING YOUR PAIN. I AGREE TOTALLY TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS OF HIS STAFF. HIS RECEPTIONIST, APRIL, LOOKS AT YOU When you check in as if you are a bother. Her face would crack if she smiled, and said Good Morning. Katy, also, needs to be friendly, and smile in the exam room. The girl who is at the checkout desk needs to smile and be friendly also.
