I have been using Dr. Dan's Computers for years, but will never go back. I recently had them install a battery for my HP laptop. The battery was faulty and I called within 2 weeks to inform them that it was loosing its charge within 1-2 hours when it should last 10. The staffer told me he would notate this in the system and not to worry, they would re-order another battery and fix it for free since it was within the 1 month warranty period. RecommendedMy laptop broke over a week ago I took it to X company they charged me $160 had it for a little over a week and could not fix it I asked for my money back they refused . I went over to Dr. Dan's they fixed it in 24 hours at a very reasonable price don't waste your time go to Dr Dan's they know what they are doing and have very reasonable prices
My brother highly recommended Dr. Dan's Computer when my computer broke. I was devastated when my computer broke early Monday morning. I was able to drop it off at 2:30 pm, they called me at 4:30 pm to tell me it was already fixed. If I would have taken it earlier I would have got it the same day!!! Dr Dan's Computers are the best!!!!! I will always use them!!!
I purchased a computer and when I went on the internet, it locked up stating that it was stolen. I went back to Dr. Dan's and they told me it had to be something I did. I called Albuquerque Police, they came to the store, verified that the computer was on their hotsheets. Dr. Dan's would not refund my money, the police took the computer. Dr. Dan's told me, oh well it happens. Now I am out my money, the police have the computer and I have nothing. WHAT A RIPOFF!!

Here at Dr. Dan's Computers do everything we can to avoid purchasing anything stolen. However, as anyone knows nothing is foolproof. We take this very serious. All people who sell to us are asked for an I.D. to ensure we have all their information. This review however appears to be a fake. This did not happen. I had to file a “Complaint” with the BBB concerning the purchase of a “Replacement Battery” for my Laptop, I went in and purchased a “Used” DOA Warrantied battery that did not work and was then returned, which then was followed up by a “Subsequent” Order for a new one that I made a request for in April of 2015 that was never filled and my “monies” for the purchase of the “Used” Battery never refunded. On Wednesday April 8th, 2015, I went into Dr. Dan’s Computers to purchase a “Battery” for my Gateway Laptop computer. I spoke with a Customer Service Representative by the name of Mario to see if he had “any” Batteries for my Model of Laptop. I was unable to get a new one as they didn’t carry it but I was told by Mario that he had a “used” one that I could buy for $30.00 plus Sales tax that I was welcome to “try". We offered a full refund. Check my BBB stats. A+ rating. BBB closed the case. We have been in business for over 20 years. As everyone knows you can't please everyone.
