Not only did I have the opportunity to work with Dr. Canfield as a medical student, several months later when my brother shattered his lower leg, Dr. Canfield put it back together. We were worried about all the potential complications, but knowing I had seen Dr. Canfield in the OR, I knew my brother was in good hands. He operated twice on my broken hip. It got infected and he treated me wrong from the infection. I had Sixteen surgeries by a different qualified surgeon trying to save my leg. I ended up losing my leg and half my pelvis because the infection was treated wrong to begin with. I wish I could give him a lower rate than a one I would.
