Dr. Volk is the best therapist I ever had. Compassionate, caring, but also willing to challenge how you think about certain situations. Things didn't click for me in treatment (w/ past therapists) until he laid out why I think the way I do and how to actionably combat it. Please do yourself a favor reach out to Dan if you feel you/or a loved one needs help.
Dr. Volk really helped me get passed some issues with my OCD - he made me feel at ease with each session gradually progressing so I understood everything. He couldn't stress enough that it's a mutual relationship and that I had to practice the items he would give to me each week. It was a wonderful experience.
Our family was very fortunate to find the help we needed with Dr Volk. Our preteen daughter was struggling and after many months and many therapists Dr Volk was the one that educated us the most and developed a plan that worked for our daughter’s OCD. He was professional, funny and provided in person therapy in a comfortable office and also telehealth appts. Our family now has the tools we need to move forward.
Zen Psychology & Wellness was a perfect fit for both my daughter and myself.
