Dr Burzon explained everything re my problem and procedure. HE is very competent and patient and I was never rushed. Plus he is a NY GIANT FAN!

Horrible person...he's a Businessman, more than a 'Health Care' professional .

Doc. Burzon has been treating me for last 4 mo. He has answered all my questions, opened my eyes to all the false info. On the internet. I put my trust him to resolve my problem.

Had back MRI that revealed bladder problems. I received conflicting information from the Dr versus primary care and was not happy with overall discussion of what was required for the exams and why. I decided it was wise to get a second opinion. Do not plan on returning.

I recently went for an appointment with Dr. Burzon after going to the emergency room and being diagnosed with a bad uti and kidney stones. I had never met Dr. Burzon before so naturally I was a little nervous. He reccomended a ereteroscopy because he wasn't convinced the Er diagnosis was 100% accurate. Thank god he did bc he found what the er said was a 4mm stone actually being an 8mm stone that was stuck. He knew how nervous I was and he was very compasionate. I would highly recommend him!

Business response:

We are so pleased you had such a good experience with Dr. Burzon. Thanks very much for your glowing review! :)

I had a kidney stone 1.1cm and was in the hospital waiting for a stint. He advised me that since his group did not take my insurance, they shouldn't do the procedure, that I should find another urologist and take care of it on an outpatient basis. He also warned that if he did put in the stint, I'd have trouble finding another urologist who would want to handle my case from that point forward. He let me leave the hospital with a potentially life threatening stone and he didn't care.

Business response:

Mrs. Otero, I understand why you would be upset over not having your kidney stone treated completely in a single session during your hospital admission. The physicians of our group try to do what is best for each person, which is why Dr. Burzon placed a ureter stent in you to relieve your pain and protect your kidney from harm due to the stone. He was trying to save you money by advising that it may be in your best interest to then switch to a doctor that is in network with your insurance.
