Dr Wiske spent exactly 5 minutes after reading my X-ray and feeling the top of my hand. He diagnosed me with Tendonitis and recommended therapy at an associated facility. When I asked him how I was diagnosed from an X-ray only for my wrist pain he got indignant and said he has done thousands of surgeries and knows from experience by just viewing an X-ray. It is more than 6 weeks since his diagnosis for my one wrist and I am now in extreme pain on both of my wrists and shoulder. I need to find a new more caring doctor to diag... read more
Just had the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had in healthcare with this doctor. I’ve seen him once before and thought he was very quick yet thorough. This time was awful. When I mentioned that I believe my wrist pain was from a slip at fall at work, I was immediately dismissed and was talked to very rude. He said so you are here asking me to tell you if this is a work injury? I said well no, I don’t know exactly what is wrong with my wrist and the pain started 2 weeks after my fall. Update 3 years later: I have permanent nerve damage in my hand and arm. The medical gaslighting is unreal. This doctor was very disrespectful towards me. I have never been treated so badly by someone who is supposed to help. He was very rude with me and very arrogant because I was crying in pain. Very awful experience. I got referred to him, if you get referred please go somewhere else if you actually want help!
I had a great appt with Dr. Wiske. He and his staff were all very kind and friendly. I had zero wait time and I arrived a bit early. He was very detailed about my issue and prognosis along with providing options moving forward. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Is a title he should be stripped of. I had surgery to fix two broken fingers. Not a complicated procedure , but one that left my fingers good for much more than show now. In a nutshell he crippled my hand.
