staff makes the entire experience a nightmare. NYC staff better than rockland
Very sad to say that Dr. Luciano has lost business due to his staff. They are the least responsive, most rude and condescending folks you'll encounter. Time to change to a physician who stays current
Dr. Luciano has been there for me. Always helped me out and he's a great Doctor. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a neuroalist.
Back on December 3, 1991, Dr. Devinsky and Dr. Luciano did brain surgery on me because I had epilepsy. I went thru months of testing. On the day of surgery, I had my last seizure. I had epilespy since I was a child, about 7 years old. Now, 24 years later after surgery, thanks to these wonderful doctors, I am still seizure free. I have a driver's license, three beautiful children and a normal life. I am one of those people that had a miracle happen. But most of all, I must thank Dr. Gerber who knew these doctors and guided me... read more
I used to be a patient of Dr. Luciano. I think he someone who is very condescending and doesn't even try to help you get better at all. Not once did he try to switch me to newer medications that are out there now. I asked him why he doesn't check my blood levels and he said I didn't have to. I told him my sister who is a doctor as well( got into Harvard med school) told me this. He makes a rude comment saying oh your sister has much more to learn. I'm sorry where did you go to medical school? My neurologist now is ranked one... read more
I just saw him today. he just asked me a few questions and then gave me prescription. that's it. He never ask me back if I have questions to ask. never tell me I need an EEG. I aware i need to get the EEG test from his assistant when I go to schedules appointment to see him again. Oh my god, I never have such experience. I don't recommend patients to see him.
I have been under his care for 17 years. He is an amazing person and brilliant man. Because of his expertise, I have now been seizure free and have had two sucessful pregnancies with two healthy children, and completed my university studies with a 4.0 gpa. He is an important part of my life, and could never imagine going to another doctor.
Dr. Luciano is very knowledgeable and an expert in epilespsy. He is very compassionate and has always there when I needed him for myself and my mother who needed alot of attention. I will forever be grateful to him for the care he gave particularly to my mother who had alot problems.
Dr. Luciano is very knowledgeable, decisive and genuinely warm and up-beat. He responds quickly and appropriately to emergency calls. He is busy but never rude, and I never feel rushed. I have never seen him look at his watch! My seizures are under control with the medications he prescribed.
