Can't get anyone at the office!
After waiting over a month and a half, they called today and canceled my father’s appointment (who is currently going blind and has been waiting to see a specialist). The reasoning for the cancellation was that Dr.Blumenfeld was out of town. Instead of rescheduling him, they proceeded by saying “he will not be accepting new patients when he returns”…. Like what??? waited two hours, I am so embarrassed that I recommended this doctor to my sister in law. For her first visit all the exam consisted of is an eye chart and reading her old prescription. No medical exam at all. The doctor did not ask question health or provide answers about the prescription. The office clearly schedules too many people at one time slot, but NOTHING CAN BE SAID ABOUT THE LACK OF PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR FROM THE DOCTOR. So sad. Now, after 10 years with this doctor I have to look for a new ophthalmologist.
Hice cita de primera vez pero mi problema de salud empeoró y fueron muy amables en adelantarme la cita debido a mi urgencia. La enfermera fue muy cortés también. El doctor fue muy profesional y me revisó de manera muy completa, incluso me explicó en español y sienpre preguntaba si tenía alguna duda.
Doctor is great and the office staff is nice just so disorganized and misinformed . I’ve been here 3 times and every time I’m told that they can’t do the specific thing I asked for when I make the appointment . I always ask beforehand and I am told “ yes it’s possible “ then I’m told “ no we don’t “ AFTER I’ve waiting weeks for the appointment and been billed. It’s so frustrating
