I was thrilled at how they understood my weight loss needs. They researched my insurance and I had very little to pay. The doctor explained different options and made a recommendation which worked for me. I was fully tested, given a workbook, a training class and felt fully prepared. When I had a question, they promptly responded. I recommended them to others. I lost 105 lbs and have kept it off for several years now. My husband went and lost 135 lbs. He is very happy with Dr. Davis and his staff, too.

I saw Dr. Davis once or twice before my surgery. I worked mostly with his team for a year. They are very thorough and complete a lot of pre op testing. I chose Dr. Davis because he is over the bariatric surgery program at Baylor Medical, so I knew he would probably have a great track record. I was disappointed I didn't see him after surgery. The hospitalist and NP did the after visit. I would have preferred more hands on from him. Beware provider does not let you know if your BMI is not 35 or higher for 2yrs verifiable with records you fetch. The insurance won't provide coverage they don't tell you that to you get to the office. Even though they offer no service they still make you pay the co-pay they will offer you the cash option for surgery but if you still decide not to use either insurance or cash option you still have to pay the co-pay rip off....They don't have good business ethics nor do they operate in good-faith

At 325 pounds I was rather despondent. After much counseling and prayer, I made the commitment to change my life with the help of Dr. Dan Davis and the #BUMCDanDavisTeam. Gastric Bypass surgery wasn't an easy fix but I was well prepared for that. Thanks to continual guidance and education from the #BUMCDanDavisTeam, TODAY I am #McLivinit !! In almost a year, I have lost in a healthy manner(well, healthier than before) over 120 #s and walked over 28 miles over the weekend while traveling in Spain

I was 100 percent happy with my experience with Dr. Davis and his staff. It's a thorough program, and I'm looking forward to my post-op appointments. No regrets!
