I have recently become a patient of Dr Blakolmers. I have had one eye exam, which was extensive, along with a Field of Vision Test.Dr Blakolmer takes the time to get to know you and your vision requirements or concerns. I had seen a vision "specialist" of some sort numerous years back, and did not remember who it was. I used to visti this place for my diabetic eye exams for many years but doctor keep on changing and inspite of informing that my wife coverage is limited staff took retina pictures and charged her which we have to pay from pocket. I have stopped going there since then.
Dr Taggart is phenomenal. The kind folks at the front desk, however, are quite aggressive in collecting funds and failing to think situationally. When I made a flash appointment to check my recent prescription, I was warned about payment three times on the phone, somewhat combatively, and then after a few minutes with the doctor, I was advised that I had used up my OHIP alignment and would have to pay out of pocket for an important pressure check in five months. Synergy. Everything at this clinic just flows with meaning, ease, and purpose. From initial appointment setting to in office conversations on findings, it all made sense. We had Dr. Brian Yeung.
