At my first appointment, Dr. Sotirescu introduced himself and immediately asked who referred me to hematology--was it a doctor or a PA? When I shared that it was a PA, he told me to "get a real doctor," and proceeded to dismiss my symptoms because my iron was fine. Not sure why I returned after that. This latest interaction, however, will be the reason I don't go back. The best care I could wish for
Best and most caring Dr I have ever had. He treated me for years for acute anemia and then when I got Cancer he became my oncologist. He truly cares about his patients and has the best personality. He saved my life.
