He operated on my son and he is the best doctor I have ever known. I found him to be honest hard working and very caring.

Dr. DeSilva did surgery on my back in 2009. Prior to the surgery I was in severe pain and had trouble bearing weight on one of my legs. Within two months after the surgery, I was line dancing and mowing my own lawn with a push mower. 11 + years later I am still pain free. In 2012 I saw him for neck pain I was experiencing. He recommended physical therapy, not surgery, and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. On vacation my husband suffered a traumatic brain injury and this was his doctor. I have never in my entire 53 years had a more unprofessional doctor. He walked out on me when I asked questions about brain surgery to relieve pressure due to a brain bleed. The icu nurses and staff were just as dumbfounded by his actions and were all apologizing for him. Please do not let this man near your loved ones.
I found Dr de Silva and his PA, Jeff Hamm to be professional and friendly. Dr de Silva also heard my concerns about a lower back problem I’ve had for almost 50 yrs but no other Doctor could diagnose. He sent me for a simple test that showed the problem, and suggested PT and pain management. While fusion surgery is the only way to fix my problem, I am being able to delay it with the path I’m on now. If you want a Dr. that cares about human life, his patients, and a helpful staff, DO NOT see Dr. DeSilva. If he had taken even a minute of time to look at my dads scans, my dad may have had a fighting chance to get treatment started. Instead he disregarded him because his diagnoses was terminal anyway. His staff is some of the worst I’ve seen in healthcare. You basically have to tell them to do their job because heaven forbid they actively offer to do anything. He is my HERO! I can not express enough about his knowledge and skills. I went in thinking one more consultation with a doctor that would waste mine and his time. Quite the opposite. He went over my scans/images and the large folder from everyone and he recognized the problem right away. I felt helpless and overwhelmed having physical injuries for months in this unfamiliar place.from having been in a car accident..If you want to be heard and appreciated as a human being (?) See Dr. Desilva!!

The staff there is very rude, the whole office including their nurses are unprofessional!
