Dr. V has been a breath of fresh air. He is direct and funny with his dry sense of humor and great analogies. We were hesitant at first, since this is not his typical profile. My son is 23 years old and is high functioning on the autism spectrum with ADHD and anxiety, but has no severe psychotic issues. I only saw him two times before I felt like we were not a great fit. I don't feel like he listened to me or offered anything beyond just prescribing medication.
I was a very ethical healthcare professional, licensed &followed my medication orders to the T. Never took more of my'as needed'prescribed med but in fact, took much less than allotted me. A benzodiazepine drug which, unbeknownst to me when I was first put on it decades ago, can rapidly become physically addicting. This drug also comes with the risk of'hitting tolerance' when the same amount of the drug suddenly stops workingwithout warning & Your symptoms are far worse than the original reason you were put on the medication... read more
Was my pediatrician my whole life growing up now he’s my son’s !!! Very knowledgeable would never want to switch! Both me and my son received the best care from him.
Would not give me the time of day until I brought my family member in. THEN he decided to listen to what I had to say and even during that conversation he was rude, condescending, and just straight disrespectful. I was under his care for 72 hours and probably spoke to him for a total of 4 minutes. Terrible doctor I have no idea how he still has his license.
I requested an MRI for advanced imaging as a follow up to the ultrasound I received. He became verbally combative and even suggested that it wasn’t a physical MRI that I needed but a “psychological one.” All because I did not “trust” his opinion. As an advocate for my care, I am allowed to request the test that two other medical professionals said I could or should have. Dr. Cunningham excels at pediatric care. He is a extremely knowledgeable in his field and genuine. I’m so thankful that I chose him for my baby’s pediatrician.
