Dr Loucks destroyed my femur while doing a hip replacement and it has caused tremendous pain and complications since he touched it in 2004.
Three years out, both knees still working well. Can X-country ski, hike, swim and bike almost normally. So, pretty much back to most everything, except completely squatting to tie shoes for children. It’s great to move and enjoy life again. Makes me wonder where this type of orthopedic medicine can advance.
I had my right hip replaced 21 months ago. The adhesions and scar tissue created by the procedure have left me with continued pain especially when sitting which has very much impacted how I live my life. . I felt like the procedure was rushed and not much aftercare despite paying for the concierge service. I work with many patients with hip and pelvic issues as a chiropractor. I would not recommend this doctor.
My wife had the first hip replacement by Dr. Craig Loucks in Calgary Alberta on April 26 2024. Her hip was completely trashed and the wait time in Canada is horrific to say the least. She is now doing well and walking quite easily. We first spoke to Doctor Loucks on April 22 by phone and he performed the operation on April 26th. We are absolutely grateful to him and Canadian Surgery Solutions for the wonderful care and concern and speed of doing this hip replacement. I sincerely hope you continue to practice in Calgary.
