I saw Dr Greene for the first time after spending 5 days with severe hip pain. I called BROC and got 1st available doc that afternoon. After an X-ray and a little bit of a wait a PA student and PA took my history and info about my hip. After that Dr Greene came in, looked at my X-ray and my hip … no arthritis or fracture so bursitis is the cause. Dr Greene saw me for a broken ankle. Diagnosis said surgery was needed. He did a great job. I'm six weeks in and starting to walk again!
I called Baton Rouge Orthopedic Clinic and specifically asked for a coccyx specialist. Dr. Greene is not a coccyx specialist. He gave me three options and stated it was my choice. I was most disappointed as I wanted a doctor to explain to me why after breaking my coccyx since 1998, I was in excruciating pain. I left feeling like I wasted my money. In all honestly...as a patient of Dr. Greene, you will probably have to wait longer than most office visits, but he is WORTH it! The staff is very professional and helpful. The scribes are thorough and caring. Dr. Greene truly cares about his patients and their comfort.
