I recently saw Dr.Corey Blackburn with what I thought was a very serious problem with my right foot. My experience at Dr Blackburn’s was extremely calming and friendly. Dr. Blackburn explained very thoroughly why my foot was hurting and advised me of the importance of caring for my feet due to my health condition. His care and concern is a huge priority to Dr. Blackburn. I highly recommend this doctor for all your Podiatry needs.
Dr. Blackburn advised the removal of all right foot toes due to the infection of one. Surgery was meant to be a closed incision fully stitched. Stiches pulled out early and either open wound or failed surgery allowed infection to reappear despite weekly checkups. Result is a below the knee amputation about six weeks later at another facility.
Corey is an excellent Surgeon. He saved me/ my leg from a very nasty Necrotizing Fascitis infection in July 2019. Life threatening stuff. He also provided some follow up care along with UNMC Surgeons. Very pleased with his work.
Dr Blackburn is very good at what he does, I would highly recommend him, he is very friendly and caring and great with his patients
Dr. Blackburn has a great bedside manner. He is very caring. He has a lot of knowledge about his specialty and does some special procedures to help with your problems. He also goes to some other locations to help his patients not have to travel so far.
