We had taken our kids here for years, back before Shambaugh took over. Since then I have not been nearly as pleased with the concern and care given to our children. We were recently refused further service because we had questions and concerns about some "standard" procedures that are not required by law and Shambaugh didn't even have the decency to talk to us about any of that before mailing us a nasty letter and trying to collect on a copay we were never informed about from 3 months ago. I had a great experience so far with Dr. Shambaugh with my 2 kids. The office feels more personal and homey rather than cold like some are. He is also quick to give a fast response if I call into the office regarding a concern of one of my children.
What a day... I get a call from the school saying my son got his finger shut in the door. I call his new "doctors office" and they refuse to see him because when we left the practice in 2010 the reason wasn't because we moved out of county or state. I had called this practice in October and was never asked if we were former patients.
