Dr. Cruden has a very cold presence, just like the office. I had my appointment and a few days later I emailed her to ask her a question that had a yes or no answer. She recommended I schedule another appointment so she can answer the question. Ok, fine. I schedule an appointment, OVER a month later mind you. I arrived 10 minutes early just to sit in the waiting room for 40 minutes past my appointment time. I say something and wait another 10 minutes when I'm finally taken back to the room. Excellent doctor. She took time to listen, allowed .e to ask so many questions, and answered them ALL. Finally, a Gyno who HEARS you.
So nice. Talks to you like you're a person & truly listens. Very helpful, thorough, & explains everything so well. Really makes you feel comfortable & at ease, & like you've known her for a long time. She's very frank, which I like, & it's clear it's because she truly cares. Some drs are so detached & shuffle you out quickly, but I love that she's not that way at all. When she's with you, she's focused all on you & leaves yiu feeling like she's not only your dr but a caring friend, & you feel well taken care of.
If you want your problems taken seriously, don't go to her. I came to her hoping to find what was causing irregular, extremely heavy, painful periods that made me miss school and pass out. She chose to tell me that I'm just overweight and I need to go on antidepressants. No tests were run despite me telling her I had a family history of hormone disorders. I went to a different provider who figured out what was wrong with me.Turns out I have very low estrogen, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and severe PMDD. I could've been spa... read more
Went to her for infertility issues. She told me she wouldn't help me until I quit breastfeeding and to "come back when I'm pregnant" 🙄 I go to see a different OBGYN who actually cared enough to run hormone panel and get pelvic sono done. Turns out I may have Endometriosis and am getting a diagnositic excision laproscopy done in two weeks. I do not recommend this doctor. She made me feel like I wasn't worth her time and she clearly ignored several red flags. I have heard nothing good about her but chose to go to her, regardl... read more
