I am only giving 2 stars as Dr Katelaris did help me once. Now I have read others reviews I know it is not just me having problems there. Yes the receptionist is rude beyond belief. There is no compassion for people who may be depressed due to their illness, nor eagerness to help. At a most recent appointment I was told two Very IMPORTANT scripts would be mailed to me... so right now during a flare up I am looking for another specialist because I have no faith they will arrive. Dr. Katelaris identified my baby’s eczema triggers during our first appointment. Within just three days of following her treatment plan, his skin was completely clear. We are crying with joy and incredibly grateful for her expertise and efficiency.
I had an appointment on February for a script renewal which was canceled. I understand that things happen so I asked them when in the next appointment available cause I need a new script for the medication im taking for my severe eczema, and reception told me next one available is April. The immunologist Dr. Katelaris was very friendly and helpful, along with her assistant. They ran a couple of tests, and have provided a recommendation. However, the receptionist (Anna), was quite rude and dismissive. And even when another patient came in to ask and said "How are you?" She quickly whistled and said "uh-huh, no." And pointed straight to the papers. And even for my papers, apparently the paper was missing information (even though that is what my medical team provided me).
