It was very disappointing. He seemed very uninterested in helping me find a cause and resolution for pain that has only worsened in the last two months. He just kept saying it should go away on its own and rushed me out of the room. I left the appointment feeling very hopeless and frustrated. I felt completely dismissed, rushed, and it felt like he just shrugged and wanted me out of there. It was the shortest doctor’s appointment I’ve ever been too - lasted maybe 5 minutes. He has to work on listening, and explaining things better. I would never go to him again.
I am a huge fan of Dr. Regan. He did my lumbar posterior fusion and lumbar fusion lateral surgery in 2013, and I couldn't be happier. A year later, I climbed Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa — pain free. At the time I needed my surgery, his schedule was already filled until the time he was going on vacation, but he ended up securing OR space on one of his unscheduled days to do it before he left. Wonderful experience with Dr. Regan! He actually listened and went over MRI to show what is happening. Very friendly and educated and his MA was great as well! I highly recommend.
I’ve been having issues with my back this week, more pain than usual, so I made an appointment as soon as I could. I even drove 30 min to a diff location just to be seen sooner. I felt very rushed talking to the Dr. He cut me off to “get to the issue” when I was explaining background about pain. Didn’t even get an examination of the area in pain, I sat in a chair the whole time and all he did was did a little push test on my legs/knees/feet.
