Dr. Staszak had imaging that showed malignancy (multiple 9-10cm lymph nodes) and never said a word. I had to find out incidentally over a year later at CCF when it had progressed to Stage 4 and taken over my bones. It's a scary thought to think your primary care physician wouldn't know the symptoms or recognize cancer on a scan. If that doesn't show lack of consideration and skill I don't know what does.
As an older and heavy woman, I appreciated her nonjudgmental attitude, her kindness, and her concern for my wellbeing. And on top of that she's a good doctor.
I just I had a UTI. I called my Dr. after hours and Dr. Staszak was the Doctor on call. She referred me to the Avon Clinic and she saw me the very next day. Although my urine test was negative, she prescribed Antibiotics and medication for pain. The next morning they called and said the test was, in fact, was positive after being sent out to the lab for further testing. She is so personable and down to earth, I just loved that!
