Dr. Mizuo was named in a lawsuit filed in July 2026. The lawsuit claims that, instead of injecting lidocaine to numb the area, the doctor injected rubbing alcohol and began the procedure without checking for numbness. His patient alleges she screamed and cried in pain and begged the doctor to stop, but he told her to “just get it over with,” said he was in a rush to leave the clinic, and continued the procedure despite her pleas.The lawsuit claims the error resulted in severe chemical burns and permanent nerve damage.

There are not enough superlatives in the English language to properly give this amazing surgeon the accolades he deserves.
