Today I went to Dr. Barhorst’s office to establish as a new patient. My appointment was at 2:15. I arrived at 2:25. I was 10 minutes late. I checked in, paid my copay, and sat down to wait. About 10 minutes later I was told by the front desk (young Hispanic lady) that because I was 15 minutes late I was not going to be seen. I didn’t argue. I asked for my copay back. I went to see Dr Leahy for back pain and vestibular migraines, that I was told might be caused by my spine. He sent me to the pain management Dr. Barhurst for a shot in my lower back and occipital nerve blocks for the migraines. Dr Barhurst did the shot in my back. Upon my next visit with him, Barhurst, told me occipital nerve blocks would not help vestibular migraines. And I told him I was confused because Dr. Leahy said they would. Dr. Barhorst has the most amazing bedside manner And is a Godly Man With amazing words of encouragement, Hope and understanding. He is a true light.
