I had been seeing Dr. Claudia Wendell since 2012. I went in to see her about two weeks ago and had the worst visit of my life. When she entered the room she did not ask how I was doing. I brought up a couple of symptoms I was experiencing; long term head cold and facial dermatitis. While she was checking my vitals, I also brought up that my back was still in pain. Dr. Wendell and her staff have been personable, professional, respectful, and responsive to questions and paperwork I needed. Highly recommend.
Best doctor I've ever had. She was the first to hear my afib, and she also makes sure I do all the yearly tests I need. I have several medical conditions, and she either takes care of them or sends me to specialists who can. The staff are the best by far I've encountered in Wichita.
Bad bedside manner, impersonal. She just didn’t ever seem like she cared about me and my health, and never even smiled at me. I saw her for a little over a year long. First primary care doctor I established care with when moving here and just- nope. The other staff was nice though.
I was seeing Dr. Wendell for a couple years until recently. I went in and explained my problems and she put me on a med that I took as directed. The medication only increased the problems I came to see her for and when I called to try and get a new medication my call was returned by her nurse saying that they would not change my medication and that they wanted me to keep trying it.
