We had a very poor experience with Dr. Heise. She was the provider for my entire family for years. Dr. Heise missed major medical issues that were picked up by an urgent care doctor when my child was attending college in another state. Communication to coordinate care with Dr. Heise was not good (I had to contact the office 5 times to schedule an appointment for an emerging issue). I have never experienced a doctor's office who never answers their phone. I have been on a waiting list for over 5 months now to establish care. I finally got a callbak after 4 months and was told that there is still a wait but they can get me in sooner to see a newer provider in the practice; I agreed and was told they would call me back and let me know when they can get me in. Its been 3 weeks since, and no call- I have left multiple voicemails and it seems like I am getting completely ignored.
Honestly, Dr. Heise is great at knowing where her strengths lie and will absolutely send you to a specialist if she feels out of her depth. She was the first doctor to even try and take my pain seriously, and as a disabled person I always appreciate someone willing to listen. But be warned if you fall on hard times! I had many things go wrong for me, and exist on limited disability income woth exorbitant rent costs, meaning some of my bills had stacked up.
