Love Dr. B! She sees my entire bridge club. We found her on NextDoor, b/c her name kept coming up. Whenever I make an appt, it's with her, and not some doc trying to do cosmetics, and not a PA/nurse. She's kind, smart and sincere. Her office staff are amazing,& have been with her for years. This speaks volumes! As for the late patients who left a review, let me guess,you're an entitled millennial?!! I kid. No one's perfect, that's her policy and I am willing to work with it b/c she is the best.
I found Dr. Berthelot on Next Door. I saw her for a funny looking mole. I'm so grateful I did. Dr. B biopsied my mole and found a melanoma. I've been cancer free for 7 months now. As for the review about her being a stickler about time, I'm in the military so I'm fine with that. Late patients push back her patients who are on time. She's still going to see you, just not right away. I lose my dinner reservations when I'm late, so why not expect it with the best dermatologist in Houston?
I had the same experience as the last review. I was running 10 min behind because my 5 month old baby needed to be changed as we left the house. When we arrived I was informed that I would have to wait until all of her other on time appts were done and then she could try to fit me in. I also waited a month to even get on her schedule. Very strict time policy. She just lost a patient and the people I referred to her as well
I was a new patient and had trouble finding the office after running 5 mins behind to start with. But I was there 10 mins after my start time and there was no one in the waiting room. I was there at 8:40am and was told I would have to wait until all the other appts that show up on time were treated first. The next appointment was at 9am, with no one waiting. If your policy is going to be that strict, you need to inform customers prior to arrival. I've never been treated so rudely.
She is the best dermatologist I've ever seen and I have been to many. She does not rush, is very thorough and explained many things I did not know. I highly reccomend her.
Excellent experience for over a year. Previous experience w/dermatologist couldn't even compare to mine w/Dr Cindy. I was referred to her by couple of friends who both loved her knowledge and way Dr Cindy treated them. Previous Dr missed 2 areas that were a concern of mine but not theirs and they didn't look near as close as Dr Cindy. I highly recommend her for many reasons.
I've been in search for a new dermatologist in this area for a little while now (I have chronic severe Psoriatic disease), and came upon Dr. Berthelot. I don't think I have ever been so comfortable during a check-up, much less a first-time visit. Dr. Cindy is very sweet and thorough. She takes her time to explain everything to you, and gives you many options in treatment and/or care. She listens to all of your concerns and experiences, allowing you to ramble even, while still showing genuine
From the beginning to the end, my experience with Houston Institute of Dermatology has been seamless and wonderful! Katelyn made it very easy to make a new patient appointment and was very polite on the phone. I was greeted with warm smiles and didn't have to wait at all to be called back when I arrived. Dr. Berthelot was very prompt as well! I am not used to this because I am accustomed to wait so long at other offices. Dr. Berthelot was very professional and has a calming bedside manner.
Dr. Berthelot is an excellent doctor! I had a spot on my arm that I was concerned about. I showed it to two other dermatologists before seeing Dr. Berthelot. Both said it wasn't a problem. Dr. Berthelot said, If you are concerned then I am concerned. She did a biopsy and the result was skin cancer. She recommended a doctor for the Mohs surgery and even asked for my feedback on him when it was done. She is competent and she genuinely cares! EXCEPTIONAL DR!
